To get started, press "Calendar" in the Menu column.

There are four categories of events on their respective calendars that can be displayed. Those categories are:
Meetings: PAG Meetings
Special Events: Events such as field trips or classes
Upcoming Shows: PAG or other photography shows
Deadlines: (logged-in members only) PAG deadlines, including show submission deadlines, other non-public planning dates

The calendar has two basic views: List View and Calendar View (toggle using the upper right tab). The default List View is a lot easier to read but if you prefer seeing it in a traditional calendar format, try Calendar View.

At the top of the calendar page are a set of tabs, including “Visible Calendars.” There will also be a tab for each of the event categories visible with your current selection of calendars (one or more of Meetings, Special Events, Upcoming Shows, and Deadlines). Clicking “Visible Calendars” or any of the calendar tabs brings up a calendar selection popup that offers a selection of available calendars. Selecting or deselecting calendars limits categories of events that will be displayed. By default, viewers of the website will see the “Meetings,” “Special Events,” and “Upcoming Shows” calendars. Logged-in members will additionally see the “Deadlines” calendar. If you wish to only view one type of event, deselect all the other event types and click “Refresh”.

Logged-in members will also see an “Add Event” button at the top. Clicking on this will take you to the Event editing page – see the “How to add a calendar event” (external link) article for details on this.

Navigating in the calendar is accomplished using the Day, Week or Month controls on either side of the “Focus:” date, and also by clicking the "Arrow" controls on the left or right side of the calendar bar.

You can change the range of events viewed at one time from the default month to weekly, daily, quarterly, semesterly or yearly by selecting the appropriate symbol to the left of the “Focus:” date display.
