And now for something completely different — our June 18 PAG meeting will feature a panel discussion, “Seeing Outside the Box,” with three guild members discussing and demonstrating how they visualize and create images that rely on color, form and texture rather than recognizable subjects. Our three panelists are Mark Reid, Koa Tom and David Goodrum, who have all been practicing the dark art of abstraction for many years, but each in their own particular (some may say peculiar) ways.
We meet at the usual place and time—the back room of the Natural Grocers at Ninth and Beca in Corvallis at 7pm. Hope to see you all there!
