Congratulations to the five PhotoArts Guild members who have been juried into the exhibit, “Fire Season,” currently on view at the LaSells Stewart Center, 26th and Western in Corvallis. The show invited artists of any media to submit work that “engages with fire as subject matter, metaphor, medium or method.” The work by PAG members that was selected by the jury includes subject matter that ranges from forest fires to fire-fighting and fire itself.
Phil Coleman, David Goodrum, Vicky and Jeff Hollenbeck and Rich Bergeman each have one or more prints in the multi-media show.
A reception is scheduled for Friday July 17 from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The show closes July 31.
